I was here for a private event and really enjoyed it. the place seems great for such a gathering and the staff was very helpful. the catered food was great and the music was nice. I didn't expect this type of place in Tunica, but glad it is. I would come back here again.
Attended a fantastic Dwight Yoakam concert at Bluesville on 8-8-2009. The venue is small enough to feel intimate yet large enough to allow lots of energy from the crowd.
Went to the Earth Wind And Fire Concert here and the place looked pretty old. There were folding chairs to sit in which was odd. It is not real big and could be a nice venue if they would remodel it. The sound was good though, the concert was great.
Many great performances offered here. We will go back. Comfortable.....great show price......Expensive drinks!
First time visiting this venue. I was happy with the seats we had and the place was full---- bottom floor and balcony both. The sound was awesome and the show was great. I can't complain about the seats and I wasn't uncomfortable at all. The audience was rocking and enjoyed the show. We will watch for future shows and already plan to come back in July for another show.
Fun venue for concerts and we really enjoyed seeing Merle here. Seating was pretty crowded and had to rely on the large screens often even though I was relatively close to the stage so don't expect to be too comfortable or have a clear view and you won't be disappointed. Drinks ere overpriced which is typical these days. But it was definitely worth it to see a legend in a small intimate venue. Will go back again when another favorite plays here.
Went to the DWTS show on 29 Dec 2014Bought the "Best Seats" I was shocked they were in the balcony. Found the seats in section 406 row three to be obstructive view as you can't see the right side of the stage. On a serious note you go up to the balcony on an elevator. when you ask about the exits in case of emergency the ushers say the stairways are not available for use. At the conclusion of the performance the crowd was told they had to use the single elevator they came up on when the crowd demanded to know howtheycould go downSTAIRS the were. directed to a stair case with on access to the first level. Very dangerous theater. I certainly would not recommend it to anyone.
Bluesville is an intimate venue snuggled in the midst of the Horseshoe, the Goldstrike and Tunica Roadhouse casinos. Two minutes max is all you need to walk between any of these places. There really isn't a bad seat in the house. There is seating for about 1500, maybe a little bit more or less. Over the years, my wife and I have seen several great shows, and we have never been disappointed. Buddy Guy in Feb, 11, was simply astounding. This old man did things on guitar that puts everyone to shame. That includes Clapton, Hendrix, and Isley. Basically, he schooled them. Ringo Starr and his Allstars a few years back was excellent, with a capital E. Drinks are a bit pricey, so it pays to spend some time at the nearby casinos before you see a show. Easy entrance and easy exit. The only time we didn't get to meet the performers after the show was when Ringo played. Was able to meet some of the other performers that night. We have planned trips to Tunica around big performances for years. We'll be back in later this year to see the Temptations. If you have to have a huge stadium and masses of humanity around you when you see you're favorites, Bluesville isn't for you. If you want to see them up close, this is the place for you.
I saw Gin Blossoms and Collective Soul perform here. The acoustics were great and the setting was very intimate. There doesn't appear to be a bad seat in the place. The crowd wasn't particularly into the show at first, but the setting was quite conducive to the lead singers getting people more involved, and by the end, nearly everyone was standing. Drink prices were pretty reasonable. The VIP seats are not on the floor; they are actually heavily padded seats in the balcony. To me the floor seats were better. I would definitely see another show here.
